We have reached the half in Pasco. The Everett Trojans lead the SWO Lakers 39-38. Derrick Smith leads all scorers with 16 points. Ethan Martin pitched in 8. The main issue the Trojans are facing is foul trouble, 15 total fouls on Everett in the 1st half compared to the Lakers 7.

About 7 minutes from tip off. I talked with Coach Thompson and told me that it felt great to be back here a year removed from the Trojans second place finish. He also highlighted that “defense and rebounding,” would be the team’s main focus tonight in order to win.
