Ole Miss and Mississippi State are locked in an awesome one-score Egg Bowl, yet the broadcast has spent every moment discussing Lane Kiffinโs future.
Itโs completely disrespectful to the players competing. This is where college football is failing us.
Good news and bad news
Good news we arenโt gonna get our hearts ripped out of our chests at the last second
Bad news we are getting beat by a billion
-QB threw for nearly 400 yards & 4 TDS
-RB ran for 100 yards & caught a TD
-5 sacks
-12 TFL
-1 INT
-17pt lead with 10mins remaining
I am still in complete disbelief that we lost
When Erika spoke it was clear she was carried by the Holy Spirit.
Listening to her was a true testament to the power of faith and the light of Jesus Christ.
It was the most touching and humbling thing I have heard in a very long time.
Her voice carried a weight beyond this world, as if Godโs truth was flowing through her. The strength, wisdom, and courage she showed could only come from an unshakable faith in the Lord.
Her words reminded us of the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:8 that to be away from the body is to be at home with the Lord, and of Romans 8:38โ39 which tells us that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
Her testimony also reflected Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Through her faith we are reminded that even in grief, God is present, His promises are true, and His kingdom cannot be shaken.
And it is there, in that kingdom, where Charlie now rests in eternal glory.
I hope this is a call to all those who do not yet know the character of Christ to seek Him, to know Him, and to understand the unshakable hope and peace that only He gives.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. - John 14:27
RIP Charlie Kirk. It doesnโt matter what your opinion is of Charlie or his politics if you donโt view this as one of the darkest days in American history than you are part of the problem.
