Have we improved from last season? Yes. Has home form & performances been poor? Yes. Would we have taken a top half finish? Yes. The frustrating thing is we’ve had on several occasions a chance to nail down a European spot and haven’t. But that’s part of a team in transition.

Very sad news this evening - a highly recognisable part of our success in the 80s 🙏

We’re saddened at the news of the passing of John Clinkard, Everton’s physio during the 1980s glory years. Nicknamed Magnum, John spent seven years with the Blues & was key to getting our footballing heroes fit & on the pitch.
We send our condolences to his nearest and dearest.
