@NASCARonReddit 1 - If a points race, then @markmartin does not get a points penalty following the 1990 Pontiac Excitement 400
2 - @ErnieIrvan doesn’t crash in practice at Michigan in 1994
3 - The 2005 UAW-GM Quality 500 isn’t run on railroad tracks
@AustinKonenski Until Fox stops treating nascar like it’s a sitcom, it’s never going to be great. Mike Joy is a treasure but the broadcast overall is meh. Amazon is the closest to ESPN Speedworld style of broadcast we’ve had in a long time, not since early 2000s NBC.
@jeff_gluck Both the 600 and 500 that year were insane, with thr October race that year being a giant dumpster fire. Didn’t NASCAR consider ending the 500 early?
@Ebrennan45 You are the epitome of what many of us dreamed to do one day. You have a command of all the unfolding storylines throughout any race, strong callback to prior moments, and a key ability to interject emotion and excitement. Hope you get to Cup some day!
@A_S12@IndyCar@FOXSports I assume at this point for 2025 pxp nascar duties:
Fox - Mike Joy
NBC - Leigh Diffey
CW - Rick Allen and someone else?
CTS on FS1 - Jamie Little
Amazon/TNT - AB maybe? Someone from left field?
@dennyhamlin I've been a nascar junkie over 30 years and have studied its history with a passion. Thank you for what you are saying about the on track product. I never thought id ever struggle to keep an interest in the sport. Please keep speaking out!
