GAME’s collapse was bigger than many thought, new documents show the UK gaming retailer owed £15.8 million when it went into administration.

About £3.5 million was owed to secured creditors, while almost £12 million was owed to suppliers and other unsecured creditors, many of whom may never recover all their money.

The company struggled as more people bought games digitally instead of on discs, while tough trading conditions made things harder.

The UK needs the return of GameStation. 🇬🇧🕹️

- Affordable physical video games.
- Midnight launches.
- Heavy retro focus, even selling "modern" remakes, consoles and accessories such as Analogue, ModRetro, Hyperkin, Retro Fighters, modded consoles, etc.
- Retro console repair and disc/cartridge cleaning service.
- Non-scalped trading card drops with a seating area to play, trade, and meet people.
- No selling phones, toys, plushies, crappy POP figures or mystery-bagged tat.
- Weekly/Monthly retro gaming LAN-parties featuring Halo, Super Smash, and Mario Kart while offering snacks and beverages.
- Sell genuinly dope GameStation merchandise in collaboration with artists/games.
- Sell graded cards, comics and games.
- Staff have to wash daily, no butt cracks on show.

What else are we missing? 🤔
