I hate their mindset. the reason "starving artist" is such a huge trope is because usually when we follow our passion, it leaves us with no ability to pay for bills/food.
Yet if we go too far into business we are treated like mindless business robots. Yet people who have stable income careers will never get this hate even if they spend 24/7 on their careers. They would get called hard working or driven.

Im the luckiest person ever! someone just gifted my mom a bed for free. My bed been hurting me so much its so old and the springs have given out and have been stabbing me and causing so much pain on my lower back and hips Now I got a new bed, they even included a bed frame and box frame!!!

I think the difference is finding out after that you guys mesh well and naturally became friends and other people who purposely use commissions to get close to people. It’s all about intentions, if you just genuinely vibed with them, building from there should never be a problem 💜

twitter is really annoying even when a post of mine does well, 95% of comments and follows are just scams or bots. like the fact I have to block/remove every new follow so far is super discouraging. I feel like every new idea they made to remove bots just hurt real creators and made bots infiltrate this site mroe

No not at all!!! If anything I was upset at them for lying to you, you were beyond understanding and patient. I just wanted to clarify for other people, an artist can ALWAYS refund. I also recommend if oast a certain point to decline extensions. If they get too many past deadlines, vgen will shut down the ability to take on more commissions. And will have to finish all outstanding commissions to have the restriction lifted. There is no penalty outside of the restrictions, so don’t feel bad if you decline an extension either!!!
