@Sapphire1Weapon Haha you call it. But i don't think Capcom will explicitly announce who the wife is, they will lay down some tidbits here and there, because they love the ship wars that's being going on. The wars kept people talking more and more about their game. Free marketing. ๐คง
@PiersNivans94@narfeyeron Overrated or not, Capcom perceived Leon has unsolved past trauma whereas Jill has already solved hers. So, for them, Leon is better suited than Jill. It's more than just trauma. It's the regret, mostly. RE9 is a story where Leon finally redeem himself of his regret.
@narfeyeron Leon than Jill, that Capcom can use to hit us with more feels which were shown in RE9. Plus, during RE3R, Jill couldn't wait to get out of RC and was busy escaping it, while Leon was trying to save the city the best he can.
@narfeyeron Imo, Jill has already moved on from her trauma, post death island, but Leon wasn't. He regretted for how useless he was during RE2R, and regretted for not coming to RC sooner. He couldn't save Elliot, Marvin, Kendo, Emma and Marvin's daughter. There are more traumatic scenes with
@2003_sarah_s Towards the epilogue, the story will fast forward to the timeline after RE9, where Ada has matured now. Turns out she was narrating to us the whole time. Then a phone call comes in, the name on the phone screen could be Chris or Leon. And she pick it up, setting the plot for RE10
@2003_sarah_s and there is a secret lab hiding there (classic Capcom). As Ada fighting throughout the city, we can have some flashbacks of her memories, learning more of her past, her family, and her motives.
@2003_sarah_s I want the story to focus on her past. We almost know nothing of her past. Capcom could make a plot where after RE6, she returns to her town/city (with her being declared dead, will make her travels much easier). Upon arrival, she finds out her place is being overrun by BOWs,
Capcom literally assign each of them a flower to symbolize what they represent. Let's start with Leon.
Yellow daisy - Optimism, loyalty, resilience, surviving hardships.

Leon - Justice
Claire - Humanity
Chris - Leadership
Jill Valentine - Companionship
Grace - Bravery
Ada - Self-Preservation
Ethan - Devotion
Capcom isn't just showing us how to survive the monsters; they're showing us how to survive the loss of the world without losing ourselves.
@vnillavc I was genuinely sad when Capcom killed off Ethan in RE8. I lowkey hated Chris for not telling Ethan his plan. They could have worked together much earlier and Ethan wouldn't have to sacrifice himself. Even his own team blamed him for not telling Ethan about the plan. ๐ญ
