Before independence, Brahmins had education, resources, and opportunities - everything.

There was no reservation, no competition the entire field was wide open in the name of merit.

Even then, these people could not invent even a needle. No scientific discovery, no technological innovation, nor any contribution to any industrial revolution.

While the world was building steam engines, electricity, telephones, and airplanes, these people were busy only with rituals, priesthood, and strengthening the caste system.

If they truly had real merit, India would be the world leader in science and technology today.

But opportunities remained limited to a few castes and the entire country had to pay the price for it.
