@midjourney Your own chips? Your own TPUs?😉 Don't see anything wearable at this stage, but maybe something like a Remarkable tablet with @midjourney only type of software inside? Interesting...
Introducing Ideogram 4.0: the best open image model in the world.
Think it. Make it. Own it.
Download the weights, fine-tune on your own data, and run it on your hardware. Live on every Ideogram plan and the API today.
Open source models do 99% of what users want. Why do people want to pay for ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude then? What do these models do that you cannot achieve with open source ones? Or is it just convenience?
@AustralianJA@SenatorWong I will sit this one out if I were you. You have indeed been mistreated more times than not. But on this occasion, the video is just abhorrent. To everyone. So, maybe condemn that first and attack Penny later?
I believe on-prem and local AI - based on @huggingface open-source models - will be an important answer to the GPU shortages this year (because they are cheaper, faster, safer than cloud APIs)!
Great collaboration between @huggingface & @MichaelDell@Dell to make this a reality for enterprise today. Announced at the main keynote of Dell Technologies World.
🇺🇸 A Texas biotech company just hatched 26 live chicks from 3D-printed artificial eggs with no shells and no hens.
First time in history a complete bird embryo developed in a fully artificial system.
And that's just the warm-up.
Colossal Biosciences is using this same tech to bring back the South Island giant moa: a 12-foot-tall, 250 kg bird that went extinct 600 years ago.
No surrogate exists on Earth big enough to hatch one. So they built the technology to do it without one.
De-extinction just went from science fiction to a construction project.

Just off stage at #GoogleIO, some highlights from this morning 🧵
Gemini 3.5 Flash is available today for everyone in @antigravity and across our products and APIs.
Compared to 3.1 Pro, 3.5 Flash is better across almost all benchmarks with huge progress in coding. It’s also comparable to the best models but very fast (4x faster tokens/ second than other frontier models). And when looking at the intelligence versus output speed, it’s in a league of its own in the top right quadrant.
Welcome to Gemini 3.5 Flash, our most powerful model to date. It pushes the frontier of intelligence, speed, and cost putting 3.5 Flash in a class of its own.
We spent the last 6 months making sure Flash is great for real world use cases. It's available everywhere now!
@bindureddy Actually, all these "closed" systems have hit a brick wall with just incremental improvements whilst DeepSeek v4, Nemotron3, qwen3.5 have all caught up, are superb & work well deployed on @ollama with @openclaw + Hermes serving agents. Stop looking at graphs and build something.
@akshay_pachaar If you use PageIndexwith with any of @OpenAI's or @AnthropicAI's models for a large corpus of documents, the costs will scale linearly and aggressively. It is essentially a depth tool, not a breadth tool. Paying more for 3 x token use. Only for the weak, money rich or confused.
