The future is increasingly constructed by the people who are funded to create content & opinion - this goes beyond the classic media engine - to VCs, corporates, corporate funding of think tanks etc (think of all the people missing in constructing our deliberative futures)
Betting on a "personal brand" in the field of systemic transformation means showing your vulnerabilities, being in an ongoing generative dialogue, and allowing it to change you. Be genuine and help manifest a better future or fake it, and your whole effort is doomed :)
