The Redmi K20 Pro is the GOAT and it's running Android 17 @EvolutionXROM way smoother than midrange-flagships of today! 🔥🚀

@soirilab Okay, you were referring to actual maintainers and not like the maintenance of the code itself. Yes obviously LineageOS has the maximum power for that.

[𝙀𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝕏 @EvolutionXROM]

@soirilab @CatBurger_XD Have you checked our sources for A17?

We checkout to their latest base with every repository. Baseless words.

@axilyng The focus isn't for daily driver material. It's for the hobbyists that have a spare Mi A1 they can still tinker with. You can still browse and scroll on social media apps but obviously no gaming or intensive tasks.

This is Evolution X Android 17 on a 2017 Xiaomi Mi A1.

Not a GSI. A full build.

September 2026 patches have been partially merged in our Android 14-17 sources. Partially due to LineageOS not yet fully pushing remaining repos. Everything still works as expected.

We're working on finalizing official release for all the Pixel line as well as our other devices.

@mattmoniz @mweinbach It's our custom ROM 😊 our base is full lineage but we also keep google apps and Pixel UI aesthetics. Best of both worlds.

So my long shot during early access for Astra was bringing up a custom ROM for my Xiaomi 17 Ultra

It worked for about 2 weeks straight but it finally gave it the first attempt booting the ROM, EvolutionX, and it worked!

Few things to fix but this is wild

@mweinbach Just wanna say congrats! And Evo looks good on the 17 ultra.
