@UrbanSpaceman86@VixL I think the challenge the national pollsters not recognising the primary process cause inherent issues.
Hopefully next time we can all unite around the people's champion.
A HUGE well-done to our People's champion @VixL
She won the highest progressive vote, and ran a fantastic campaign.
Well-done to all primary volunteers for all their hard work!
Next time let's unite and win!
Also, congratulations to Richard for winning IOW West!
@diaoaks@VixL That's not the conclusion we draw.
We concluded that @VixL was the bet local progressive candidate which she was.
If national tactical vote sides went with local knowledge and data, who knows!
@midwifenicki@TSax500@IWCanDepress Hi Nicki,
The Greens won a higher percentage of the vote share, and Vix was the highest scoring progressive candidate.
@natalieben@VixL We are really proud of our people's champion @VixL and the campaign we have run.
We hope people see the value of primaries and local campaigns!
@Femi_Sorry Isle of Wight East polling stations.

What have the Tories done to us? Vote then out!
At polling stations in the east isle of wight today, at least 2 have food banks, one has a free food waste project and one has a dental charity parked outside! What has this island become under Tory rule?
Vote islanders vote! Get these Tories out! #GTTO#GE24
🚨 WARNING 🚨
This is not a drill!
Get out and vote out the Tories!! 🗳️
I repeat, this is not a drill!
Get out and vote out the Tories!! 🗳️
If you've voted, comment and tell us! 👇
Great opportunity on Isles of Wight East, to #GetGreensElected - and more than that, for a real step for #democracy, people doing politics for themselves.
(And ending the island's record of never having had a female MP!)
Don't forget to vote 💚 today!
I'm off to work first, then across IW East the rest of today. Huge thanks to all the staff and volunteers doing epic shifts at our polling stations ✅️
