@Jernkjeve@HomesteadAmeric@BarackObama Ummm because it does? The greenhouse effect of carbon dioxide warms the air causing glaciers to melt, therefore increasing sea levels.
@Wppah@EndWokeness Blindly believing the whole book doesn’t mean your following God’s rules. The book was written by man and has undoubtedly been changed by man over the years.
@legally_rj @MattWallace888 If a character has to be your same race in order for you to relate to the character, then your probably racist to some extent. Why can’t you relate to the character simply because you are both human?
@ZexuFang@Cernovich You forgot greenhouse gases. You know… the ones that absorb radiation and warm the climate? That stuff that we put tens of gigatons into the air every year?
@Cernovich The answers to questions he’s asking are highly variable based on technology development, climate feedbacks, and the participation of other countries. If he knew anything about the topic he would also know that CO2 would continue to warm the planet until absorbed naturally.
@robswift21@StarChidia@bennyjohnson You act like there is a single opinionated group of people that are the authority on fact checking. I’m just highlighting that the idea that a single volcanic eruption is equivalent in CO2 emissions to the entire human race is simply false, according to peer reviewed research.
@robswift21@StarChidia@bennyjohnson I didn’t know people still made this claim after how many times it’s been fact checked. A volcanic eruption of that degree would wipe out humanity anyway.
@SteveBizak@TobieThebeau@bennyjohnson@GretaThunberg@elonmusk Let’s say there will be an ice age around that time, do we just leave a disaster for the generations that come after just because an ice age will happen in thousands of years anyway? I wonder what your grandchildren would think of this comment.
@stuntdawg77@Coximus@kenklippenstein The US is the second largest emitter of CO2 (that’s the one that makes the earth warmer btw), the first is china who emits CO2 in large majority to meet US demand
@Satoshimoto2@Coximus@kenklippenstein CO2 is what’s going to warm the earth so much that places near the equator and ocean will be uninhabitable. It probably should be the main focus.
