@OK_Breakdown I know it's super early, five new starters on the o-line, some guys were banged up, etc. But watching the o-line give up sacks and struggle against one of the worst teams in the AAC was concerning. If anyone can turn this around it's Bill Bedenbaugh. But man there's work to do.

@BaseballJeff1 Soler goes back to a place where he’s thrived, and DH opens up. Chana, also in a down year, gets back to the Bay and a manager he loves. Maybe the Braves get the good version of Soler and we get a better Chana. I know they’re dif trades, but maybe that’s the overall theory?

@knbrmurph Aiyuk is under contract through at least this season. The Niners also have Samuel, Kittle, and CM - to say nothing of JJ. Need CB, OL, DL. So, they used a 1st round pick to address arguably the area of least need on the team.

@susanslusser Maybe the Giants are looking at him for the pitching rotation? Unlike some of the others being considered, he’s played a lot of MLB and has a track record success against MLB hitters. 🤷‍♂️

@_lukehoop With that spending they’re still middle of the pack (like 13 or 14) in payroll. You don’t think it’s odd that nearly every Farhan MLB-roster FA signee has some obvious downside risk (e.g., a major injury, recent down year(s), change of position)?

@KingOf_Norway @_lukehoop He signed those nonproductive players while letting a CY-caliber pitcher walk. Ray likely will not pitch until August and can opt out at the end of this season. Logan Webb is the only healthy, proven MLB SP on the roster. KH will shine but can’t handle a full workload yet.

@PavlovicNBCS I sincerely wonder if Farhan only shops at places that sell factory-reject clothes, toys, etc. Like, he would *never* just walk into a regular store and pay full price for a brand-name pair of pants, no matter how much money he has to spend.
