God saved this baby yesterday.

About 2 weeks ago, one of our patient said she could not feel her baby's movements at 39 weeks gestation. Scan revealed that the baby had died. She eventually opted in for a Caesareansection. We discovered that the baby was strangled by the umbilical cord. It was so sad losing a baby at term.

Yesterday, during an elective CS, we saw that the baby had a knotted cord (true knot). This was a disaster waiting to happen.

People don't fully grasp the many battles pregnant women had to fight to bring forth a live baby.

May our mothers not labour in vain.
