I kept hearing that the USA was favored over Belgium but Matt Jones of @HitThatLineAR clearly knew better. The QB turned soccer expert accurately predicted we had no shot.
Bill Burnett was a great football player but his legacy was far bigger. I never meet a more authentic Christ-follower in my time as a sportswriter. Bill pointed people like me toward the Truth. @TomMurphyADG sums it up well.

Thursday was a good day for several #prohogs hitters. Kjerstad, Cali, Wallace, Aloy, Stovall, Thomas Jr., Iredale, and Spraque-Lott all had at least two hits. HRs for Kjerstad and Thomas Jr. Bybee, meanwhile, pitched 6 scoreless innings in Single A
Is there a law requiring credit union's to have ridiculously long names, initialisms, or both? If you add more than a three-syllable word to the front of "credit union," you've gone to far.
@HunterYurachek says it will take nearly a year to change all the signage at the football stadium. Maybe he should seek some advice from the folks at the Kennedy Center.
Tuesday was a good day for #prohog pitchers who saw action. Lockhart (AA), Monke (AA), Jimenez (high A) and Root (high A) combined for 10 innings, 3w, 12Ks and gave up only 1 run (by Root)
Almost always lost in this story is that the RF should have called off the infielders and made the play. The 2B gets thrown other the bus when it was not his play to make.
#prohogs Dominic Fletcher (2/4), Christian Franklin (2/3), Heston Kjerstad (3/6), & Robert Moore (2/3) combined to go 9/16 on Saturday in AAA games. All four of them hit a HR.
What #prohogs will get a promotion soon? Aloy and Davalan from high A to AA are good bets. Aloy was 4/8 yesterday and is hitting .277 with 11 HRs for the year; Davalan, 3/4 yesterday, is at .280 for the year and .310 in his last 10 games. Wallace seems ready for AAA.
I've always thought of @asben16 as a Yankee killer, probably because of his early success against them when he was with Boston. After going 1/2 with a HR last night, he has a lifetime BA of .271 against the Yankees. He hit .358 against NY in 2018 and .385 against them in 2025.
Has the CWS gone to your predictions?
Me? I saw UGA and UT as the best teams in the field but thought the size of the park and the quality of UT's arms gave them advantage. Nope. Also, I didn't see OU sustaining its run. Whiff. I did see UNC as the class of the other bracket.
