old joke: four rabbis are arguing doctrine. its 3 against 1. the odd one out asks God for a sign that he’s correct. it snows. the 3 dismiss it. it thunders. the 3 dismiss it. finally a voice calls from heaven, “hes right”. so one of the rabbis says: “alright, now its 3 against 2”
Fr Paul and Fr Simon showing us the mock up for the new Church we officially plan to build in Orem, Utah.
He predicts Salt Lake City will become a hub of American Orthodoxy 🙏☦️
Don’t be fooled!
Saying baptism not required for salvation is not the Gospel. It is how the Holy Spirit comes to heal, transform, to make you part of the community, and make you whole.
Paul describes baptism as a:
"circumcision made without hands." Colossians 2:11–12 (babies even received this)
Jesus links belief and baptism to salvation
“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:16
Christ says it’s necessary to be born new.
“Born of water and Spirit” John 3:5
The Apostle Peter links Forgiveness of sins and the Holy Spirit given at baptism.
“Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38
Paul teaches that Baptism is our death and resurrection with Christ which gives us new life.
“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4
When we do this we put on Christ in which unites us to Him.
“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” Galatians 3:27
In doing so we die to the “old man” are raise to new life.
“buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.” Colossians 2:12
The water of baptism regenerates us. It ontologically make us new people:
“but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing [baptism] of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” Titus 3:5
And Peter explicitly says baptism saves you:
“There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism” 1 Peter 3:21
An accusation of “racism” as justification for murder is intentional and on purpose. The leftist mindset of “mean” words is exactly why the cucked world of churchianity sees “debating” and “shit” as morally worse than genocide.
