@StvnAd@walkonredshirts It’s not the def of a straw man. I was predicating your logical conclusion where everyone making this argument eventually arrives, that is, you want ND to play all top 25 teams in their entire schedule.
The outcry over Notre Dame’s 2026 schedule is RIDICULOUS ‼️
Notre Dame: plays 3 teams that finished in the Top 25 Final AP Poll (#2 Miami, #11 BYU, #23 Navy)
Let’s compare other schools’ 2026 schedules:
- Texas Tech: plays 2 ranked opp. (#22 Hou, #25 TCU)
- Miami: plays 1 ranked opp. (#10 Notre Dame)
- BYU: plays 3 ranked opp. (#10 ND, #14 Utah, #25 TCU)
- Oregon: plays 3 ranked opp. (#5 OSU, #20 Michigan, #21 USC)
- Indiana: plays 3 ranked opp. (#5 OSU, #20 Michigan, #21 USC)
Should Notre Dame join a conference so they could play an *easier* schedule like TTU, Miami, Oregon?
The continued hate towards ND is a “hate ‘em cuz you ain’t them”. Deep down, all these SAD fans desperately wish they had the tradition, prestige, and aura of college football’s greatest brand, Notre Dame ☘️
@NDrecruiting01 I’d love to have him but frankly, if you are chasing money, go elsewhere. Keeley figured this out the tough way too. ND men choose hard, not a bigger bag.
@S_Het513@walkonredshirts We are discussing ND not IU, you know the team that beat you in first expanded playoff and the team you avoided thanks to a rigged/corrupted committee? No one can take that natty away from IU, but IU won’t beat ND for another 4 decades.
