The Exaviz Cruiser replaces your PoE switch, your Pi, and your storage server with one Mini-ITX board. The problem was finding a case that could fit all that IO.

The Interceptor had RS-485. The Cruiser doesn't.

Sounds like we removed a feature. We didn't. We replaced one protocol with an ecosystem of hundreds of plug-and-play modules. CO2 sensors, relays, GPS, thermocouples, OLED displays, load cells. Click in, done. No soldering, no termination, no custom wiring.

Most 48V power supplies for PoE applications are a gamble. You find something on Amazon, the brand is unrecognizable, the "certifications" are a sticker, and you have no idea how it behaves under real sustained load.

We didn't want to sell that.

Before choosing a PSU for the Cruiser, we tested multiple brands. Voltage stability under sustained load. Thermal performance at rated output. Idle efficiency for always-on deployments. The LYD units earned it.

The numbers:
* 2.0-2.1% voltage drop at rated load
* 42°C (6A) and 53°C (4A) at full rated load after 30 min
* Under 9W idle draw
* UL Listed (cULus) · FCC · CE · RoHS · SAA certified

The 6A runs cooler than the 4A at full load. We thought it was a measurement error. It wasn't.

@mktpavlenko @Exaviz @Mandy_Li888 Thermal image from my blog post (https://t.co/NGF9wV6RgH) — cooling can be improved. A couple ways to do that, like adding a fan/heatsink on the CM5, or closing off some vent holes. The enclosure I'm testing is an early prototype, so hopefully DeskPi can improve the airflow too.
