At Golders Green today, The King reaffirmed his support for the Jewish community, following a series of antisemitic attacks.
During his time at the Jewish Care centre in North-West London, The King spoke to victims of the recent knife attack that took place in the area on 29th April 2026.
His Majesty also met community police force, Shomrim, who were involved in responding to the attacks.
I just signed a @antisemitism petition: Keep your word: The Government must fulfil its pre-election pledge to proscribe Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps under the Terrorism Act 2000. Sign here: https://t.co/TXZFaJtrqP
In my ‘tolerant’ city of Brighton antizionists are going door knocking to push ppl to boycott Israeli products. They’re marking down who isn’t interested. Feels like they’re making lists of bad Jews. This is REALLY SCARY.
It has taken nearly two months, but Parliament has now published our petition calling on the UK to rescind its recognition of a ‘Palestinian state’.
Read and sign it now: https://t.co/xQLaf8oDtx
Recognition rewards terrorism, undermines peace, and defies the Montevideo Convention, which sets clear criteria for statehood, none of which are met.
The Government must reverse this dangerous and premature decision.
A sign in a German shop reads:
“JEWS are banned from here!!!! Nothing personal and not antisemitism, I just can’t stand you.”
The shop owner put it up because of Israel’s “actions in Gaza”. It’s now removed but exposes the Jew-hate just waiting to pour out.

The unconditional recognition of a Palestinian State by the British Government at the forthcoming annual United Nations General Assembly, will prove to be a historic error of foreign policy, which will only impede the cause of peace.
It is a reward for terrorism, while the hostages remain in chains, and has been celebrated by Hamas as “one of the fruits of 7th October.”
The intended recognition is not contingent upon a functioning or democratic Palestinian government, nor even upon the most basic commitment to a peaceful future. It does not require an end to the shameful payment of stipends to the families of terrorists, nor the reform of an education system that teaches children to hate Jews. Astonishingly, it is not even conditional upon the release of the 48 hostages who remain in captivity.
I call on our Government to pause and reflect on the calamitous impact of this approach for both Israelis and Palestinians. I urge them to act with the moral courage necessary to bring peace nearer, not to push it further away.
