Volleyball Competition under Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan organised by the Excise Deptt, Jammu at Govt Middle School, Kotli Shah Daula R.S Pura Jammu. Further, a pledge by the gathering and staff of the Excise Deptt was also taken to affirm their commitment towards drug-free Jammu.

Excise Range Samba recovered 210 kg of Lahan and 6 ltr of illicit liquor from village Radma (Galwal), Samba from State Land during raids carried out to arrest the menace of illicit liquor. The recovered Lahan and illicit liquor were destroyed on the spot.

Excise Sub Range Kulgam in collaboration with Police & Revenue Deptt carried out destruction drive of Cannabis at Pratap Pora village Devsar, Kulgam in a commitment of Excise Deptt along with the District Adm. to curb the illegal cultivation of Narcotic Crops like Cannabis.

Excise Sub Range Pulwama participated in NMBA program at village Dramgund Tehsil Aripal Tral,Distt Pulwama. During program posters were distributed among participants. Moreover, also Conducted Survey on about 50 Kanals of land in the village Pastoo of Tehsil Aripal Distt Pulwama.

In a tip of information, Excise Wing Budgam, a team of Revenue & Police Station Chadoora destroyed illegal cultivation of poppy on Approx 15 Marlas of land at Village Khandah Teh BK Pora, Chadoora. FIR under NDPS Act registered at Police Station Chadoora.

Excise Wing of South Jammu conducted a rally to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote the message of a drug-free society. Many students actively participated in the rally by raising slogans highlighting the ill effects of substance abuse.

Excise Range Udhampur-Reasi conducted raids in multiple locations in village Jerri District Reasi to check the illicit distillation of liquor, during raid approx 60 kg of Lahan (raw material used for illicit Liquor distillation) was recovered from State land & destroyed on Spot.

Excise Range South Jammu conducted raids in Village Chak Balah, During the course of raid, approximately 1200 kg of Lahan was recovered from the State land and later destroyed on the spot.

Excise Deptt promptly responded on specific input regarding illegal poppy cultivation in village Hib Dangerpora, Wattergam, team reached the spot along with Police, Agriculture and Revenue Deptt. and destruction operation was conducted & illicit poppy cultivation was destroyed.

Excise Sub Range Kulgam destroyed illicit poppy on about one marla of land in collaboration with Police and Revenue deptt at village Frisal District Kulgam. The illicit poppy was destroyed on the spot.

Awareness was conducted by Excise Range BBK to alert the public about the legal repercussions of cultivation of Narcotics crops and surveillance conducted to monitor the activities of farmers at the onset of poppy flowering season in villages of Baramulla, Bandipora & Kupwara.

Excise Eradication Wing raided various villages viz Maichack,Saktachack,Barnoti of district Kathua.During the course of raid 4450 kg of Lahan, 60 ltrs of illicit liquor,35 pouches of illicit liquor and 01 working still recovered by the raiding team & destroyed on the spot.

In a major breakthrough against illicit Narcotics cultivation, a joint operation was conducted by Excise Wing Kishtwar in coordination with the Police Deptt. During the operation, multiple patches of land with illegal poppy crop at Nagni Katarsemna was destroyed on spot C FIR.

Excise Range Kishtwar raided Tamruchi Dool area of Kishtwar to eradicate the menace of illicit distillation. During the raid, a working still and 30 litres of Lahan was recovered from the State land destroyed on spot. Also Awareness cum Survey was carried out in Naghol & Dool,
