Ok this WASN’T me but when I was a junior in college I made the catastrophic mistake of underestimating the athleticism of crabs and about 300 crabs got loose in the basement of the biology building and it was 100% my bad
In November 1970, officials in Oregon, USA decided to blow up a rotting whale carcass. The whole thing went horribly wrong.
Why do we bring this up? Well, this story can teach us 3 things about #coronavirus ⬇️

even more interesting: that's right on schedule.
Happy #WomenInScienceDay!
Here is a photo of my graduating class of 2015 with BS in Physics. Even though I ended up as the only woman in my class, the physics department @uofcincy inspired me to continue in the field and now I am on my 3rd year of PhD in accelerator physics🥳
Went to visit the LHC tunnel this afternoon. It was so cool. It's incredible there are 27 kilometres of high technology creating some of the most extreme conditions on the planet.

Every airline: “We apologize, but your flight is delayed. Here is your updated departure time, which is of course a laughable fiction. We will now provide new imaginary departure times at unpredictable intervals. In general, these will be in the past.”
Even though I visited it around 10 times already I am still amazed by the machine and the presentation of the Synchro-Cyclotron. One of the best places to visit @CERN 👩🔬
