As part #ICTD2025, ExeCTU celebrates the publication of the RESPOND trial in Lancet Psychiatry, 2025; 12: 433–46. Funded by @NIHRresearch Research for Patient Benefit, this trial involved people with difficult-to-treat depression.

The trial showed that mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) significantly improved depression symptoms compared to treatment as usual, in people whose depression hadn't improved with previous treatments.
