Our latest work on the potential for #Graphene capacitors to tune the resonance of silicon-rich nitride microrings has just been #published in Optics Express. We hope that this research forms the basis of designs for revolutionary computing systems.

These nanodiamonds have wide-ranging applications, particularly in bio-imaging inside the body.
The full open-access article of our latest paper on transmission properties of 2D material thin films for terahertz applications is available here: https://t.co/bcOS1IwuOL

Great to see lots of other @OpticalSociety student chapter representatives interested in hosting future #IONS conferences. Hopefully they've been inspired by #IONSExeter.
We presented a special recognition award to V. Kaarthick Raja (Anna University, Chennai, India), to recognise his achievement in presenting his Bachelor's work at an international conference.
To close the final session, we've had Jonte Hance (@BristolUni), V. Kaarthick Raja (Anna University, Chennai, India), and Jacob Bulmer (@BristolUni). Their talks covered counterfactual communication, analysis of all-optical circuits, and drive-noise tolerant optical switching.
The poster session @ExeterIons closes the technical part of the day. I'm sure everyone is looking forward to the reception tonight! @OpticalSociety#OSAAmbassador
