Spreading kindness in our city... from a mural to a movement! Join us in supporting local projects like the Crossline soup kitchen and others via Kondanani UK
This is a great cause, if you are wanting to support orphans in Africa, a children's clinic and dental surgery in Malawi as part of your giving to charity.
We've updated our website to reflect our growth from one mural to several as we continue to raise funds for local causes including the charities based in the Crossline building in Heavitree road. Let's make kindness happen in Exeter!
We wish you a wonderful Christmas filled with joy and peace. And hereโs to a new year of spreading kindness and compassion! It's amazing that this project has led to other 'Kindness murals' which Paul Colsell has painted at Princess Hay Shopping Centre and St Peter's School.
Merry Christmas ๐ท from Exeter Kindness / Kondanani UK. Together, weโre spreading a message of kindness across the city! Read out latest update >>>> https://t.co/ShbrrFd8BJ
We are pleased to be supporting this worthwhile project during this season of goodwill. Watch the video which asks the question, "What will Father Christmas bring this year?"
If you would like to celebrate kindness in Exeter make a donation now at https://t.co/cjTqz9ruT3 This will go to the local soup kitchen as well as support orphans in Africa at @KondananiMalawi
It's #WorldKindnessDay and nothing beat's kindness. This was the message chalked at Princesshay Exeter earlier this year with a @charliemackesy illustration recreated by Paul Colsell.
Paul was also asked by St Peter's Church of England Aided School to brighten up a wall at the school with these inspiring words... "What do you want to be when you grow up?" "Kind said the boy" #BeKind Today is a good day to give to local charities / do a random act of kindness.
You are enough! This is the @charliemackesy illustration Paul will be drawing onto the pavement at Princess Hay Shopping Centre in Exeter on Thursday as part of Let's Chalk About Mental Health #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek2024
Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from 13-19 May 2024 and we're pleased to support Let's Chalk About Mental Health at @Princesshay on Thursday 16 May. Paul Colsell will help create a similar visual to the video with a Charlie Mackesy illustration! https://t.co/ac3nLicPE9
Thanks to all who support Crossline who provide meals most day in the basement of 5 Heavitree Road (below the mural). Click on the link to find out more about this good cause. https://t.co/VMuLzg7KgF
In this week where we celebrate #worldbookday2024, there is no better book we could recommend than @charliemackesy's amazing, illustrated work, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse https://t.co/dNOfa3hKYW
โAt Crossline, we think people are people whether they are homeless or not,โ says Rosemary, a volunteer in the soup kitchen at 5 Heavitree Road (downstairs from the mural) https://t.co/VMuLzg7KgF
โThey deserve respect and the best we can offer. Because, we all may be two or three rent payments away from being homeless. So itโs important to treat others well and thereโs no reason for anyone to go hungry in Exeter because they canโt afford it or are homeless.โ
