ONE DAY TO GO! Last, but by no means least, of the cast is our Narrator, James Stevenson, one of the Cathedral’s Virgers. He attributes his place in this production to ‘being in the wrong place at the wrong time’. But those who've seen him on stage will tell you he's natural.

One day nearer to Not the #ExeterNativity - and one more thespian to celebrate. The list of parts played and shows directed by Martin Kingston is impressive, possibly even endless. His last appearance before lockdown was as Scrooge in the Musical at Sidmouth.

Next in #ExeterNativity Hall of Fame. Susan Gunn-Johnson appeared in school pantos as ‘The Evil Headmistress’ and ‘The Wicked Ofsted Inspector’ and is delighted to be a less than traditional 'Angel Gabriel'. When not in the cathedral, she might well be found in a local hat shop!

Next star in the sky of #ExeterNativity! Andy Oaker normally does not appear on stage, preferring to be behind the scenes. However, the part of The Dresser in this production combines the best of both worlds. We might just be able to persuade him on stage to take a bow.

David is our playwright and director. Here he is as St Nicholas in the Cathedral’s answer to Santa’s Grotto. Over the years David has directed a dozen plays and acted in fifty more. He says he hopes to improve with practice.

Elaine Kingston is playing Mary. Elaine is very involved in local theatre of different kinds and was recently nominated for the NODA best actor award for her portrayal of Violet in '9 to 5'.
