Cleaned out and got her in a bigger room and she is actually not evil at all. She’ll get transported out as she isn’t a risk anymore. Sad to see her go but happy she’ll be somewhere with actual running water soon

Finally starting to feel the crash from all of this so every few hours I walk into the shelter side and pet this cat they all say is evil.

Day 10 or 11 without power they’re still saying water is months out. No end in sight really but thankful for small moments to relax

The mirror that caught our attention well over a mile away 👀 only way we we were able to find someone stranded in the mountains at bottom of steep canyon. 6 attempts to land due to difficulty but we got there - got him a chainsaw, EpiPens, insulin, chicken food, formula, gas, 2 stroke oil, and sandwiches premade from Harris Teeter before we left #hurricanehelene

It’s been almost a week of helping in the area and helping at the shelter and coming home to see people use this disaster as a talking point is infuriating. Entire homes are gone, people are dead and your first thought is a gotcha moment hot take post?
