@JonahDispatch Yeah, the Tennessee fiasco should've been public... that would've ended cp for good, along with the belief that any type of cp is humane. Oh, the MAGA crowd would've enjoyed it, but most would not have.
@toddeherman Why is he working out with the troops? If Superman here likes the military so much, give him an age exemption and let him re-enlist. Send him straight to Iran. This dog-and-pony show is ridiculous.
@TheDestinyWells Well, maybe Pete would like to be in the firing squad. Maybe Pete could just BE the firing squad. Truthfully, the thing is, I remember the Ft. Hood killings, and this guy deserves the firing squad, but a live feed won't deter anyone... it might actually stir more shit up.
@PizzaSteve3902 And, Josh, if you hurt me, if you do remove my income, you will generate a whole slew of problems in the social and healthcare networks of this country that a pea-brain like you hasn't dreamed of. You'll be better off keeping those SS checks coming, 'cause Grandpa will hurt back.
@PizzaSteve3902 No, but I paid into it with the promise it would be distributed to me ( not a withdrawal, a DISTRIBUTION) at a given date in the future. However, SCOTUS has ruled SS can be altered by Congress at any time, which most seniors don't know. So, Josh, if you want to hurt me, you can.
@undred0g Let's do it then. Btw, the Mets gave the bulk of their payroll to just a couple of players, which was idiotic. That skews their place in the conversation. But yes, let's cap salaries ( including deferred compensation) and see what happens.
@CoachJessem@Aztecgodlh22@JimBowdenGM I'd also wish you'd add on top of those yearly figures the ability of most teams to defer income, i.e., issue "promissory notes" that players have faith the team will be able to pay in the future. I'd bet only a few teams have the ability to defer high future payouts.
@BoomerHockey25 I agree... my other alternative would be to go down to about six or eight MLB teams and make the rest farm teams, because you only have a few teams that are perennial contenders. The rest of the teams are just random acts of occasional playoff opponents of the big boys.
@RealDanZak The WNBA is more successful than ever... and it's a hot mess. I have no problem with A'ja winning the MVP, but snubbing Caitlin, who is the bread-and-butter of the league, isn't the answer.
@CoachJessem@Aztecgodlh22@JimBowdenGM ๐๐๐๐most likely, and in the declining fan base of MLB, you'll be able to make more noise, but you know, I sure won't care. And you SHOULD care about that if you want the Dodgers to be anything more than a whale swimming in a backyard swimming pool.
@HicksCBER@koonjs01 They well may be, but most Americans aren't feeling the threat and Trump has stirred up so much crap over the last ten years this Iranian thing just seems like another part of his dog-and-pony show. Scary part is neither his supporters or detractors take his antics seriously now.
@HicksCBER This late in the game I just don't see how escalating an unpopular war helps Republicans. It'd take a dollar a gallon drop in gasoline to get most voter's attention and diesel prices won't go down quick enough to affect consumers. To me this just seems like a Hail Mary.
@AngelSowdexrd2@Victoria_Spartz@BeauBayh If you donโt like Bayhโs residency ( and you are wrong) check Epplingโs. Try to know what you are posting next time.
@JackiePlashkes Dodgers are like perennial flowers. Year after year. The Guardians and the Rays are the annuals that need to be replanted every spring. Get it?
