Never been more disconnected in my entire life from Chelsea.
Supporting this team is a chore and nothing else nothing about it sparks excitement from me anymore even when we win and it’s been that way since Clearlake came in.
Johan Manzambi and Kerim Alajbegovic: we told you before the start of this World Cup. Add Christ Inao Oulaï, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Yan Diomandé or Ibrahim Maza… The next generation is here.
Trevoh Chalobah is not much more than a squad player for a club like Chelsea. Versatile & Durable. I understand pure profit when it’s not an elite talent. But Tosin, Badiashile, Disasi & Fofana should all be out the door before him.
Massive culture reset needed when your “leaders” are fellows who do not give a damn about the club. We’ve created a situation in which players are playing for themselves before anything else.
Massive culture reset needed. I’m fine with losing Enzo and 90% of our French players. I don’t blame Enzo it ever got to this point, and he’s the type that will perform next season even if he doesn’t get his move, but you don’t want someone who has openly twerked for another team as one of your important players when the aim is to rebuild the culture.
We have ourselves to blame and need to change this going forward. Alonso has his hands full because this is more important than any tactics.
🚨 Chelsea pursuit of Marco Palestra advancing at rapid pace. Agreement with Atalanta for 21yo wing-back expected inside 24hrs. Italy int’l heavily leaning towards #CFC / Alonso project if deal struck between clubs + would fit wage structure @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/YRopRzecby
Players can’t learn Messi’s football talent. But check both goals and there is a key aspect from him that you can definitely learn… constant movement isn’t always is required. Recognising when to stay still, also creates space.
So happy to see my thoughts on Christ Inao Oulaï being confirmed on the biggest stage.
One of the best scouting picks in Türkiye in recent years.
An unbelievable player with a huge future ahead of him. 🇨🇮⭐️
I got loads of Chelsea fans on X telling me no to Tchouaméni and loads of Chelsea fans on IG telling me no to Barcola.
We probably ain’t getting either but it’s absolutely hilarious that we are turning our noses up at guys with pedigree, experience & loads of talent. Like wtf.
LOL does bro know? We as Chelsea fans know our club is finished has been since Clearlake came in. We expect a bad a transfer window and that’s exactly what we will get.
For Chelsea fans - on incomings, I would temper your expectations somewhat this summer.
Rogers was/is the number 1 target in that he is probably the best player that Chelsea could have signed this summer. Arsenal made some important proposals to him last week.
I’ve asked about alternatives to Rogers and not really been given them yet.
There is definite interest in Lacroix and Huijsen. The former club and player have held talks. The latter discussed internally. And at the weekend.
Several Real Madrid players on their radar. But hasn’t gone beyond internal discussions.
Wharton and Tchouameni are two to watch.
But strap in I’m afraid, I feel like it’s going to be a long summer for you lot. One where you might not be best pleased at the end of it, with how business has gone.
I think Balogun is going to be the "World Cup" transfer of this year. He should be.
On the surface, numbers at Monaco don't stand out. But if you look a bit deeper, his underlying metrics have consistently been great + he pops up on the eye-test.
