As part of our Banking Sector Outreach Initiative, Pak EXIM’s delegation, led by President & CEO, Mr. Shahbaz H. Syed, met with the top management of Soneri Bank, led by (Acting) President & CEO, Mr. Ahsan Mushahid Siddiqui.

The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration in trade finance, financial institutions business, and export facilitation. By leveraging Pak EXIM’s specialised risk mitigation solutions alongside Soneri Bank’s extensive corporate banking and trade finance expertise, both institutions aim to create greater opportunities for exporters and enhance access to finance.

Together, we are working towards a stronger, more resilient, and export-driven economy for Pakistan.

Operations, Ms. Shazia Rashdi, attended a consultation session on “Addressing Administrative Challenges to Effective Human Rights Due Diligence(HRDD)” in Islamabad.

Organised by the Ministry of Human Rights Pakistan in collaboration with UNDP Pakistan and the European Union in Pakistan, the session brought together key stakeholders to discuss administrative challenges and strengthen dialogue around effective HRDD implementation.

The discussion highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in fostering responsible business practices and supporting Pakistan’s sustainable export growth.
