@Vervoort_2 Like the other person mentioned there are only two moments, very close together, that i would say were jumpscares. Other than that the film doesn't do much big scary moments like that, the horror comes from the body stuff where you're likely to be wincing and looking away

@soetpoteter Yeah the gore and practical effects are a huge highlight, really cool how much they got away with on such a tight budget, and on this front I rarely noticed any limitations, like it looked real

Yep, the third act is my favourite part of the film, it's the club scene that most other people have mentioned being a highlight, and it's GREAT, but it's much more comicbooky than the rest of the film by far.

Anyway, Clayface was actually kind of a surprise for me, I was expecting to enjoy it but I liked it decently more than expected, and I really wanna see some of these characters return in some more DCU projects.

The third act is probably gonna be the more divisive part of the film, last 30 minutes do tonally shift from what the film was, and it's not going to work for some people, It really worked for me, it hooked me right back into the film after the second act lost me ever so slightly

I feel like people who say this didn't actually watch Crisis, the Earth's they go to are throughout time as WELL, they go to an 1800's Earth where they see Jonah Hex, they go to Earth-16 which is in 2046, they go to Earth-99 which is the future and like Batman Beyond.

Remember their Crisis cameo where they reveal that Clark permanently gave up his powers a year after this scene happens because he wanted kids (thing he can already do with his powers in both the comics and CW show)

And people have been repeating this Smallville thing since the episodes aired, either they didn't actually watch and are just repeating what they heard other people say, or they just didn't pay attention 🤷‍♂️

One of the very first scenes in the first episode of Crisis is Ray Palmer talking about how they must have traveled throughout time AND the multiverse (in reference to Earth-16), they clearly wanted you to know from the offset that the Earth's weren't also in present day.

I agreed completely until Superman & Lois came along and turned a compelling alternate Superman in Bizarro, making his story tragic, and then made it even more tragic by having Lex Luthor torture him over and over until he was a killing machine that became Doomsday.

The show is not that hard to understand, yes they make it clear Hal has no one, that him dying isnt super known yet, but the point is that the show has shown Hal has NO ONE, that's the problem ffs

I am still really enjoying Lanterns but the idea in Superman that there's decades and decades of DC history just doesn't feel accurate.

Like what do you mean it's Hal Jordan's funeral, who was the Green Lantern for over twenty years, yet there are only three people at it.
