๐ Hi, I'm Joseph, and welcome to Expected Edge.
I've always enjoyed analysing data, identifying inefficiencies and finding value where the market gets it wrong.
This account is where I'll publicly document that journey.
From day one, I've made a commitment to complete transparency:
โ Every qualifying model play will be posted before the event starts.
โ No deleting losing bets.
โ No cherry-picking results.
โ A public record that anyone can verify.
My focus isn't to bet on everything. It's to specialise in markets where I believe I have a genuine edge.
Current focus:
๐ฎ Call of Duty (CDL) Player Props (Primary Focus)
โฝ Football Value Bets
๐ Select Horse Racing
๐ฏ Occasional Darts
This page isn't about selling "locks", guaranteeing winners or pretending every bet is a maximum confidence play.
It's about building disciplined, data-driven models, continuously improving them, and letting the results speak over a meaningful sampleโnot a handful of bets.
If there's no edge, there won't be a bet.
Thanks for following from the very beginning. Let's see where the numbers take us. ๐
EWC 2026 complete โ
We finish the tournament with a 17-8 official record and +6.63u profit ๐๐ฐ
Really pleased with the results across the event. Plenty to take away from it, both in terms of what worked well and areas where we can continue to improve.
That will be it for Call of Duty bets for the next few months as we head into the off-season. The new game will be released before competitive matches are expected to get underway again around December, so thereโs no reason to force anything in the meantime.
The COD work definitely wonโt stop though. Iโll be spending the off-season upgrading and developing the model, analysing the data from this season and looking for ways we can find even more value when the new game arrives. ๐
And no COD certainly doesnโt mean no betsโฆ
Weโve been working hard behind the scenes on football, darts and horse racing, with plenty more bets to come across all three. โฝ๏ธ๐ฏ๐
A great way to finish the COD season:
17-8 โ
+6.63u profit ๐
Thanks to everyone who followed the bets throughout the tournament. Plenty more to come. ๐ค
COD returns in December. The bets donโt stop. ๐ฅ
โ Scar Hardpoint โ 0/3
A rough one as 100 Thieves dominate OpTic 250-129.
โ Scrap O27.5 โ 26 kills
โ HyDra O26.5 โ 25 kills
โ Mercules O27.5 โ 25 kills
All three fall just short, resulting in -3.00u.
๐ EWC Official Record: 17-8

Still +6.63 units for the tournament with more games to come today. Time to bounce back. ๐

โญ Mercules Over 27.5 Kills (Scar Hardpoint โ Map 1) - 1.82
๐ Dabble
Why I like them:
โข Scar has consistently produced some of the highest kill totals weโve seen throughout this tournament, so happy to attack multiple overs again.
โข Scrap has cleared in 13/16 (81%) Scar HPs, averaging 33.1 kills.
โข HyDra is 11/17 (65%), averaging 29.2, comfortably above todayโs 26.5 line.
โข Mercules is 18/29 (62%), averaging 30.5 kills.
โข The most relevant H2H was played on LAN, where they finished on 41, 32 and 33 kills respectively in an extremely high-kill Scar.
Stake: 1 Unit Each
Scar has treated us very well so far โ hopefully one more big kill map today. ๐
โ WIN โ EWC Official Play #19
Cellium Over 25.5 Kills cashes with 30 kills! ๐ฐ

๐ฎ EWC Official Play #19
1 Unit โ
โญ Cellium Over 25.5 Kills (Den Hardpoint โ Map 1)
๐ Dabble โ 1.85
Why I like it:
โข Cleared this line in 12/20 Den Hardpoints (60%) this season.
โข Averaging 26.6 kills with a 26.5 median, both above todayโs line.
โข Faced Heretics on Den earlier this tournament and dropped 35 kills in a 250-200 Falcons win.
โข Expecting Falcons to win again, and 25.5 looks a very playable line for Cellium in that scenario.
Stake: 1 Unit
As always, keep your staking consistent throughout the tournament. The goal is long-term profit through disciplined value betting, not chasing short-term results.
Good luck if youโre following! ๐
๐ฎ EWC Final Day
4 games again today โ 3 Best of 7s and the Grand Final Best of 9.
At the moment, weโve only been priced for Map 1 of each series, so thatโs what weโre working with to start the day.
๐ฎ EWC Day 4 Recap
Another profitable day on the official plays โ
โ Nastie U25.5 โ 23 kills
โ Drazah O27.5 โ 30 kills
โ Mercules O27.5 โ 39 kills
โ Huke O27.5 โ 26 kills
Day 4: 3-1 | +1.55u ๐
That takes the tournament official record to:
16-5 | +8.78u ๐ฅ
Really happy with how the tournament has gone so far.
Final day today. 4 games again, 3 bets of 7s and the grand finals is a best of 9, so plenty of maps to work with.
Hopefully we can find a few more good spots and end the EWC on a high. ๐

โ Mercules O27.5 โ 39 kills

โ WINNER โ EWC Official Play #18
Nastie Under 25.5 Kills lands comfortably as he finishes on 23 kills. ๐ฐ
Gridlock HP numbers pointed heavily towards the under and they deliver.

๐ฎ EWC Official Play #18
1 Unit โ
โญ Nastie Under 25.5 Kills (Gridlock Hardpoint โ Map 1)
๐ Dabble โ 1.85
Why I like it:
โข Nastie has stayed under this line in 5 of 6 Gridlock Hardpoints this season.
โข Averaging just 21.7 kills on the map, with a median of 21.
โข Even in G2โs recent 250-227 win on Gridlock, Nastie finished with only 17 kills.
โข His season high on the map is just 28, so 25.5 looks a little high based on his performances so far.

๐ฎ EWC Day 4
The map set is now out for the first series of the day, so Iโm going through the numbers now. ๐
Weโve got 4 series today, but with a change of format โ all four are Best of 7s.
Most of our opportunities will likely come on Map 1, as thatโs where the player kill markets are most widely available. However, Iโll be keeping an eye on the later maps too and any other bets I like will be posted.
Coming into today:
๐ Official Record: 13-4

โญ Insight Over 23.5 Kills (Den Hardpoint - Map 1)
๐ Bet365 โ 2.10 (Best Price)
๐ Dabble โ 1.85
Why I like it:
โข Cleared this line in all 5 Den Hardpoints with the current Toronto KOI roster.
โข Toronto KOI are favourites, and Insight has gone over in 12 of 19 wins on this map.
โข Averaged 23.3 kills across the previous head-to-head meetings with Cloud9, clearing this line in 2 of the last 3.
โข This is one of the lowest kill lines on the board at 23.5, giving us plenty of room if Toronto perform as expected.

Another profitable day despite the two losses. The focus remains on staying disciplined and only backing spots where the data provides a genuine edge.
Scar Hardpoint continues to stand out as a map worth monitoring closely. Across multiple matches today, the majority of players cleared their kill lines again. If that trend continues, correctly identifying the likely winning team on Scar could present opportunities to back multiple overs from that side.
Thanks to everyone who followed today. Weโll be back tomorrow looking to keep the momentum going. ๐
