@MmeBurgess There’s no one person to make this season easier to bear. It’s been a great reminder to me that the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of life need to be strong for me to stay the course. We all need to bind life together in a spirit of grace and compassion.
We didn’t allow social distancing to prevent our 2020-2021 staff photo. Dr. Ruff, thank you for creating our Bitmoji staff pic! It’s awesome and it reflects our personalities so well.😂
@gerrybrooksprin@gerrybrooksprin I appreciate the care and compassion for all. Don’t stop reaching Up. There can still be peace in the unknown. My prayer list grows longer. Exponential growth (Yes...I teach math 😁)
#TheEarthisWeeping was an challenging, well-documented historical read with 50 pages of end note citations. #PeterCozzens authored an amazing work that gives perspective we all would benefit from.
@spencerideas@jmattmiller As an on level student, if I saw 90 quotes required, my first step would be to check quizlet; yes, I found a quizlet with 90 quotes from 451. I’d be overwhelmed. As a student, I’d also expect the teacher to defend the assignment and give me reasoning on its relevancy.
@MrsKaylaDuncan What percentage of responsibility for this challenge is laid at the Ts feet? How does society need to integrate changes elsewhere (technology overload/parenting, etc.) to partner in meeting this looming challenge? Such important questions.
I can never forget that I didn’t go into teaching because I love #math or #ELA, I went into teaching because I want each student to see their #value and discover their #purpose in life. Make time in the day for what matters.
