@jakeatsimplance For me it was always d) all of the above — but especially tracking expenses. The moment you have clients/expenses in different currencies the spreadsheet turns into a full-time job.

Tracking expenses across multiple currencies is a nightmare when you're freelancing internationally. One client in USD, another in EUR, third in CHF — and your bank just shows you the converted mess at end of month.
