Fun fact:
A cat's reaction time of between 20 and 70 milliseconds and a snake's striking speed of between 44 and 70 milliseconds, is primarily what makes it possible for cats to get this close to snakes and still dodge their bites.
The difference may be negligible from a human perspective, but it is that difference, however slight, that makes it possible for cats to execute the lightning speed reaction required to counter a snake's strike despite being in its face.
To put it in context, a dog's reaction time is between 100 and 200 ms, and a human's is between 200 to 250 ms.
If that human supports APC, or is in love, however, then they become even slower
yesterday an old lady withdrew 35000 from her account and me and both my managers went over scams with her and she assured us she wasn’t being scammed. Guess who came in with her angry daughter today because she shipped it to Florida?
🚨🌕 José Mourinho: “The Ballon d'Or should go to one of those players who, when they retire, we miss them for eternity.
Maradona, Cristiano, Messi, R9, Zidane...
You can't give the Ballon d'Or to a guy just for winning the UCL or the World Cup.
If you should give it to someone just for winning the UCL, then give it to Luis Enrique.
No, it needs to go to the best player in the world, not necessarily a Spanish guy, or a PSG player.
It needs to go to one of the 3-4 best players in the world, and those guys are HERE.
But politics come into the Ballon d'Or, so I don't like getting into politics”.
🚨 Barça are so IMPRESSED with Julian Alvarez’s determination to join the club
Inside the club, some are comparing him to NELSON MANDELA for the way he is handling adversity 😳
@gerardromero
Atletico selling Julian Alvarez to Barcelona is entirely their choice.
Sell him. Don't sell him. Ask for €200m if you want. He's your player and you're perfectly entitled to do what you think is best for your club.
But please, spare me the holier-than-thou act about "ethics", "professionalism" and Barcelona negotiating in bad faith.
Where was all this concern for good faith when Atletico had an agreement with Barca that would require them to pay €40m for Griezmann if he played 45+ minutes in 50% of the games he was available for?
Their solution?
Keep one of their best players on the bench and repeatedly bring him on around the 60th minute so those games wouldn't count towards the clause.
Everyone knew what was happening. Griezmann knew. Simeone knew. Barca knew. The entire football world knew.
And eventually Barca, who desperately needed the money at the time, settled for roughly half the original €40m fee.
Was it within Atletico's contractual rights? Sure.
Was it this wonderful display of "good faith" and sporting ethics that they suddenly seem so passionate about in 2026?
Come on.
Football clubs look after their own interests. Atletico did it then. Barcelona are doing it now. That's the game.
So keep Julian. Sell Julian. Send him to Arsenal. Do whatever you want.
Just drop the saint act while doing it.
You cannot spend years playing the transfer market with every trick available to you and then suddenly discover the moral high ground when the sword falls on the other foot.
