If anyone has gone through the Genius Interview process recently DM me, I have a few questions, as I know they’ve changed the way they’re doing interviews now.
All store meetings used to be something special, going over upcoming things or anything really. Not the BS waste of time that this was. Thanks for having me come in on my day off for absolutely nothing. I gained nothing from this meeting except more disdain for my store leader.
@TechnicallyExp2 Good luck! I know that feeling. Have been with Apple for 9yrs and have applied 8 years times, received BS “not right now” responses. It starts to feel personal after a while.
@NoMoreWalkIns @GB_Floater I’d love to go else where, but the jobs in my area don’t pay what I’m making at Apple unless I had a Masters. So I’m kind of stuck for a while.
2/2 some people state that they just swap cables regardless, because it costs Apple next to nothing to make and prevents detractors. While others say they do it by the books. Just curious what others do.
1/2 Okay so question for the GB people, do you swap cables under warranty regardless of the issue, or do you verify the device is in warranty or the cable was purchased within a year. Just curious, we’ve had different answers here.
ARS is so demoralizing, and dehumanizing it’s scary! It doesn’t matter the work you do, or how hard you try. It’s never enough, it’s never good enough. And if you’re not a favorite of a manager in the store, then you’ll never get anywhere. Ever
ARS isn’t a great place for people with depression. Between, the stress of never being good enough, to the angry customers yelling at you over the most little things. I’m honestly surprised we don’t have more suicides and the like.
@enrichinglivez @DepotGenius Their words, not mine. LOL! They’ve been with Apple for almost ten years, and went through the GYOG program back in the day.
Has leadership told anyone else to keep Pulse comments high level and not use it as a platform for complaints about the issues the leadership team or the store has? Like we’re being told to not say certain things, isn’t that part of the point of Pulse?
I really wish everyone in Product Zone and Genius Bar were on the same page with even the most basic of functions and booking appointments. The things that get booked by our PZ is astonishing.
