June 20 marks the 45th anniversary of the Iranian Resistance against the ruling theocracy, the founding of the National Liberation Army, and is commemorated as the Day of Martyrs and Political Prisoners.

Cet outil de terreur a plus que doublé en 2025, avec 2 167 pendaisons, et déjà 749 exécutions recensées depuis janvier 2026. Parmi les victimes figurent au moins 40 personnes exécutées pour des motifs politiques : des opposants membres de l’OMPI, des prisonniers politiques kurdes et baloutches, ainsi que de jeunes insurgés arrêtés lors du soulèvement de janvier dernier.
