The Garden of the Sun is a 25-year-old garden and a perfect example of Central Valley landscaping with an extensive collection of fruit trees, vines, and berries, vegetables, herbs, perennials, small space gardening demonstrations.

The Tree Walk is an Arboretum located throughout the @fresnostate campus where you can see over 100 species of trees that are located throughout the California State University. Take a stroll across campus to see a variety of trees and other plants.

#MeetTheGarden: Fresno Discovery Center

The Fresno Discovery Center is home to the Deutsch Cactus Garden, an extraordinary garden filled with over 250 different types of cactus and succulents. The Deutsch Cactus Garden is 90 years old and spans the size of one acre.

The Clovis Botanical Garden promotes water conservation in the California Central Valley landscape through excellent gardens, exhibits, and programs that educate and inspire the public.

Next up on #MeetTheGarden is the Shinzen Friendship Garden! The Shinzen Friendship Garden is a North American Japanese garden in Woodward Park. It’s designed around the four seasons and reflects the primary elements of Japanese garden design: plants, water, and rocks.

Our next #MeetTheGarden highlight is a special garden right in the heart of Madera Community College.

The Three Sisters Garden is a Certified Wildlife Habitat with the National Wildlife Federation. Other sections feature perennials, seasonal plantings and colorful foliage.

Today's #MeetTheGarden special guest is The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation

The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust’s mission is to preserve and restore San Joaquin River lands and educate the public on the need for stewardship.

The 3-acre space offers hope to all those going through a difficult season in life, not just cancer. Cared for 100% by volunteers in the community, the Healing Garden features works of art by cancer survivors and areas of reflection.
