Huge shoutout to Olivia Glover for being the December 2020 Technology MVP. Olivia is a hard worker and an outstanding student in technology class. Olivia went above and beyond to complete all of her assigned work during remote learning. Thank you for your hard work Olivia!

It's computer science in education week. All students at CES will be participating in the Hour of Code activities this week.

In talking with Mrs. Jones, I learned that Emily is also a technology helper in the classroom. Mrs. Jones said "Whenever someone has an issue with their computer Emily is the first one to help them out"

Congrats to Emily Marple for being the November 2020 Technology MVP. Emily is a 2nd Grader in Mrs. Jones class. Emily works hard and she is always willing to help her friends with their computers and their technology assignments.

Last week in first and second grades we read a chapter of the book Bad Guys and the students made a picture of their favorite bad guy with Google Drawings. Some of these are great.

Congrats to our September and October Technology MVP award winners
September - Aliviah Davis who is a 4th grader in Mrs Lancaster's class
October - Lily Bouvier who is a 2nd grader in Mrs Acton's class.
Both of these girls work hard, and they are great role models for their peers

The Technology MVP for August 2020 was Serenity Woodson. Serenity is a 1st grader in Mrs. Biggs class. Serenity is a hard worker and a great friend to all of her classmates.

Next week we will start our special area bracket challenge. Students will earn points in each of their special area classes. The Final 4 classes will receive a special prize, and the school champion will get an additional prize as well. Good Luck to all 21 classes

In the final class of the week, Ms. Ellis’ 2nd grade, there was a tie. Both Braysen Lane and Julius Watts went 27 feet.

Mrs. Jeffries 3rd grade class winner was Jewelyette Randall with a distance of 34 feet.

The 4th Grade winner from Mrs. Lancasters room was Skylar Kidwell. His plane went 38 feet.
