@LumiovZardt@BABITASHAR57244@redding_cream_t Thats not the point i was trying to make at all.
In the Hindi trailer they mentioned bhagwan vishnu ka avatar.
They even removed that in the english one.
@priyaaarao Well! They are rewriting the core of Ramayan.
What i find more problematic is that the trailer says Ravan kidnapped Sita for revenge.
This is whitewashing Ravan. Because as per Valmiki Ramayana Ravan kidnapped her for lust, as provoked by Surpanakha

𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Ravana kidnapped Sita for revenge after Lakshmana cut Surpanakha’s nose and Rama killed his army (Khara, Dushana etc.).
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗸𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.
In Aranya Kanda Sarga 33 -> After her nose is cut, Surpanakha reaches Ravana and scolds him in front of his ministers that he is absorbed in worldly pleasures and is lost in lustful enjoyments, even neglecting his duties as king., and is unaware of the danger(Rama) that has already destroyed his army in Janasthana.
Ravana becomes furious at her bitter words and asks her about Rama, the events, and who disfigured her but shows no signs of wanting any revenge.
(Surpanakaha knew that Ravanas nature, he was extremely lustful and raped any beautiful women he saw including Rambha, Punjikasthala ...)
Sarga 34 -> Surpanakaha then deliberately describes Sita’s beauty in vivid detail ; like her charming face, golden complexion (including hips, waist, and in ways i cant mention here) — and tells Ravana she would make the perfect wife for him. Knowing his lustful nature, she uses this description specifically to provoke his desire.
Only after this does Ravana decide to abduct Sita. Surpanakha smartly turned her revenge into Ravanas lust.
Adding a @grok fact check so you know this is exactly how it happened in Valmiki Ramayana.
@PruthveshwarS Vallaki bhakti elago ledu. But adi kakunda Ravanudu ni whitewash chestunnaru.
Trailer says "Ravan kidnapped Sita for revenge".
But as per Valmiki Ramayana Ravan kidnapped her for lust, as provoked by Surpanakha

All mistakes like "not god but man" in the English trailer were intentional. The average Hindu is so un-Hindu and addicted to movies that he'll never be able to punish bollywood like the W
western audience punish the Hollywood. This is why nothing ever changes in India.
@pramitheus Not really.
They have decided to remove the "God aspect" out of Ramayana from trailer 2.
Eng trailer described Rama as "Not a god, but a man"
But the same Hindi trailer said "Vishnu avatar; and Bhagwan Ram" etc..
@aavishhkar The last song, mangal rang, sounds more like a qawwali too. Disappointed by Rehman.
Ramayan songs were to be remembered for decades. People will forget this album by end of the year.
When Japanese filmmaker Yugo Sako wanted to adapt Ramayana, he spent a decade studying multiple translations. He was so genuinely moved by the text that he decided only animation as a reverent art form was capable of depicting the story with purity.
Meanwhile Indian filmmakers:
