@EA Why won’t bungie let you do something that “should” be simple, and every other major company will allow you to do so, not just in games.

If I want to delete my Twitter account, I can and if I ever want to come back I can use the same email.

This is not possible with Bungie.

@BungieHelp Is there a way to actually delete your bungie account?

I tried the “Erase my data” form and I got a response saying that all they will do is apply a permanent ban and remove all licenses. If I ever want to come back I would need to create a diferente account.

What is the point of this? Meaning I can’t “free up” my email and I would need to create a new Xbox/steam/PlayStation account since the bungie one will be banned and connected to those.

This is not a usual request but it’s something I have actually done before with @EA.
