The BBC did this too: wrote a headline to suggest a sensitive prude over-reacted to an admirer. "Asked for a kiss" sounds like an optimistic romantic. In fact he grabbed her hair, virtually sat on her and frightened her. Why are the media so ok with crimes against women? 🤔
A six year old girl was in her home during a domestic incident. Police were called. A uniformed officer arrived to help.
That officer, PC Dean Dempster, took her away from his colleagues to take her statement. And then he sexually assaulted her.
When his devices were seized the next day.. thousands of images of children being abused. Over 100 at the most serious level. Children's underwear at his home. His own face superimposed onto child abuse images.
He spent the night after assaulting her deleting evidence from his phone.
Nine years. Sex offenders register for life.
A six year old girl called the police for help and was abused by one of the officers who showed up... 🤦🏻♀️😵💫
How are parents supposed to explain that to their children and why are we still acting surprised when predators actively seek out roles that give them access? #police #Fail #awareness #predator #share
Annabel Rook was more than a Judge’s daughter and wife.
This headline doesn’t even name her. Girls and women don’t belong to men.
Also he killed her at the point of separation. It’s a high risk factor for women trying to leave controlling men.
Clifton George didn’t ’lose control.’ He was TAKING control. It’s called coercive control and correlates significantly with lethality - femicide. It’s why I successfully spearheaded coercive control law reform. Mainstreaming this knowledge changes and saves lives. And do better with these misogynistic headlines for the love of women.
“On the night of June 16 and 17 last year, Clifton George, argued with his partner Annabel Rook.
"In the course of that argument he punched her, he then tried to strangle her, and then he went to the kitchen to get a knife, he came back with the knife and he stabbed her to death.
"He lost his temper, and in his rage… he murdered Annabel."

A new report lays bare what survivors have been saying for years: victim-blaming, gender bias, and a “boys’ club” culture are deeply embedded in the family courts.
When judges talk about victims needing to “physically resist” or otherwise blame their credibility, something is fundamentally broken.

"wife" being the opposite of "unrapeable" confirms a lot about young men's views of marriage and its purpose that we already knew.... Men aren't lonely enough!
🚨 Family courts are failing women and children. The evidence is undeniable.
New @RighttoEquality report finds 72.5% of judgments in domestic abuse cases contain judicial victim-blaming. 530 instances — mostly from judges. Mothers discredited, their trauma trivialised, rape myths repeated, abusers excused while their behaviour is minimised.
This isn’t “neutrality”. It’s institutional misogyny that puts kids at risk and re-traumatises survivors.
The report lands in Parliament TODAY.
Enough secrecy. Enough bias. Enough judges marking their own homework.

Andrew and Tristan Tate must be extradited to the UK to face justice.
The Government has a duty to get survivors of these disgusting men the justice they deserve.
Government inaction is failing women and girls.
I can only assume that men focus on a Woman’s metaphorical body count (sexual partners) to deflect Our attention from their ACTUAL body count (suicides, murders, traffic deaths .. winning order of magnitude)
