Valve has finally registered the Deadlock logo.

Today marked the first publication in the Trademark Official Gazette, and Valve successfully registered the Deadlock software.

However, they also filed an Extension Request. This means they are not yet ready to prove the commercial use of some trademarks. The USPTO approved the extension on July 23rd - giving Valve another 6 months to prepare the documents and demonstrate their readiness to publish their product. This doesn't mean that the game will only be released in January 2027. Essentially, they could quickly file another application and get approval right away (since, formally, everything is already prepared).
