@sanm_game If you streamed it then you will have no doubt watched the 'Special Editions', which might be why you got that impression about the CG. In 1997 they started to replace a lot of the original effects shots with more contemporary CG and have made many changes since (unfortunately).

As far as I'm aware the Methodist church is far more liberal on these matters nowadays. Nobody I've ever known associated with Methodism exhibited the attitudes you describe. Can I ask where/when this was?
