Name something that is so universally beloved that it knows no borders… no status… no season… I’ll go first:
Amateur fireworks outside my bedroom. 🤦🏻♀️
An old man is selling watermelons by the side of the road.
His sign reads:
1 for $3
3 for $10
A young man stops and buys one watermelon.
“That’ll be $3,” says the old man.
The young man then buys a second watermelon. And then a third.
After paying another $3 each time, the young man picks up his watermelons and starts to walk away.
Then he turns back, grinning proudly.
“Hey old man,” he says, “you realize I just bought three watermelons for $9 instead of $10? Maybe business isn’t your thing.”
The old man smiles and shakes his head.
“Funny… every time somebody comes by, they buy three watermelons instead of one… and then try to teach me business.”
2000 years before the telescope, armillary spheres were used by ancient astronomers to track the movement of stars, planets, and the sun. Today they are a symbol of curiosity… our eternal attempt to map and comprehend the vast order of the universe.
A US hospital has taken a billion dollars from taxpayers to help poor patients.
But INSTEAD of helping poor patients, they paid executives millions, built an art museum, built an NBA practice facility, and a buiding in Abu Dhabi.
Meet Cleveland Clinic.
Same move. Same hand on the heart, same wave to the crowd. Musk did it and gets called a Nazi to this day. Mamdani does it and those same people have not said a word.
Well, not exactly. Once the side by side clips went viral, some of them did speak up. Not to apologize to Musk. To defend Mamdani.
Suddenly the gesture is not the gesture. Suddenly we need to talk about arm speed. Whether the fingers wiggled at the end. Whether he was smiling. Whether his grandparents were in the right party. A year ago none of that mattered. The hand went up, the verdict came down. Now we get a forensic seminar on millimeters and microseconds to prove Mamdani's arm moved slower.
Mamdani's own press office said "in no way was this a Nazi salute." Funny. Musk said the same thing. His did not count. Mamdani's did, instantly.
That tells you everything. The "Nazi salute" thing was never about the gesture. If it were, they would be screaming right now. They are not. It was about Musk. They hate him because he is the richest man in the world and he was attacking their ideological piggy bank with DOGE, so they smeared him.
Mamdani is on their team, so he gets a pass, plus a defense team running stopwatch analysis. Same hand, opposite verdict.
A wave is a wave. The rule does not change based on who is waving. When it does, you are not watching principle. You are watching a hit job.
A man spends 50 years teaching at MIT.
He knows his time is running out.
So he records one last lecture — everything he knows, distilled into a single hour.
He died 5 months later.
This is that lecture.
The most important hour you'll watch this week. 👇

The coolest thing about @Sonos is if you walk past the speaker from right to left, the logo still spells SONOS. If you hold it up against a mirror, still spells SONOS. If you flip the freakin speaker upside down, IT STILL SPELLS SONOS!!! 🤯🤯
@jaddy7416 I thought about this list during my mom’s wake where my cousin’s husband started bitching about micro plastics while eating a plate of food. Like I should have polished the sterling silverware for 50 people.
You’re going to someone’s house for a party. Don’t do this:
-Bring grocery store flowers and expect the host to drop everything, find a vase, process the flowers and make an arrangement for you to admire. Just buy an arrangement.
-Bring uncooked food that needs preheated oven space and cook time. Same goes for whole fruit that needs washed, peeled, cut and plattered. Bring it ready to eat and in an aluminum pan.
-Bring room temp beverages. Or ask the host for a beverage you don’t see offered. And for the love of God, if you need a lemon in it, bring some already cut up.
Just don’t bring anything that requires the host’s immediate attention, appliance space or dishes. Some thoughtful nonfood contributions:
-Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags.
-A first aid kit that includes ibuprofen.
-A filled propane tank in the summer.
-Nice liquid handsoap & lotion set.
-Clean up help.
