This photographer is still drying out from two weeks in NOLA and covering both weekends of the 2023 @jazzfest. Thanks to @nodepression for featuring my coverage of the most remarkable musical event on the planet.

A look back at one of my most satisfying years as a music photographer, after what seemed like a helluva lost weekend. @jazzfest@newportfolkfest@newportjazzfest were back at full strength and it was glorious. The year was special because it happened.

Appreciate the @VoyageLAmag profile of my work and the road to it. As a native Angelino, I'm in some damn fine company. Thanks to the Editors for the inclusion.

This was definitely not a drill. @EyeOnTheMusic coverage of Wednesday's @rogerwaters show at the @cryptocomarena. Wherever you are on the man's politics, this was an undeniably brilliant concert experience. And, happy for ya @B3RobertWalter! #rogerwaters

Not only will the performances be extraordinary, but your participation will help lift jazz, not just in the Los Angeles area, but anywhere a pair of ears has love for the music. #justjazzfoundation#johnbeasley
I've been fortunate to cover @Newportfolkfest for many years, but this one will be remembered for generations. It certainly was one of the most moving and important musical experiences of my life. Thx to @nodepression for trusting us to bring a little of it back home.
A McCartney tour is among the musical events of any year. Pretty dang cool to cover the first stadium show of “Got Back”. Sir Paul hits 80 a few days after the tour wraps and delivers for almost three hours of joy.
With the first @jazzfest in 3 years and a changed world, Talking Threadheads invited @EyeOnTheMusic to talk about shooting the most diverse and soul quenching musical event on the planet. If you love JF, you'll dig this.#jazzfest#musicphotography https://t.co/iGHXl1cvcO
45 music photographers, 16 venues-festivals, 1 iPhone. “A Year in the Pit” captures the joy and challenges that go unseen behind the photos fans love to see. A real pit's eye view. View online through 1/5. #ayearinthepit#concertphotography

My gawd, what a year for roots music. James McMurtry’s “The Horses and the Hounds” is a storytelling masterpiece, and while “Raise the Roof” was my most anticipated record of the year, if I can only pick one, it is @outsidechild13 “Outside Child" on @fantasyrecords.
In a year of such uncertainty, 27 photographers captured some of the best musical moments of the year. Appreciate being among them with the lead photo of @BobWeir from the @deadandcompany tour closing Halloween date at the @HollywoodBowl.
