Targeting the tribal communities specifically is a misguided choice.

The representation of diverse communities is what unites India. The Zomi Community possesses its own flag, similar to other communities. In the context of Manipur, the focus on the Zomi or Zo ethnic groups represents yet another act of injustice perpetrated by the state-sponsored terrorism, which the Indian government has failed to address adequately.

If displaying a community flag violates the Indian armed forces' code of conduct, then why were the successionist Meitei allowed to display the Arambai Tenggol flags on Indian Navy ships?

The systemic injustices, selectivity, and majoritarian autocracy of the government have obscured the truth. The Meiteis, who align with RSS ideology, should not feel secure if actions are taken against Zomi youths who have recently completed their training.

If the display of community flags is not permitted, then all flags and symbols including those of @official_dgar should also be restricted, with only the Indian national flag allowed.

Each logo or flag symbolizes identity and pride for different communities. Targeting one particular group while allowing others to display theirs is not in line with the values and code of conduct expected from the Assam Rifles. The "ALL NAGA DOCTORS' FORUM MANIPUR" has expressed its discontentment and condemnation over the barbaric behavior of the radicalized #ManipurPolice personnel for mishandling a #Naga Medical Officer of the State @ Dr. Larung Mejonah, who is currently posted at #Moreh #Hospital, #Tengnoupal District.

In a very unprofessional and coarse manner, on May 24 Night at around 09:00 PM, about 6 to 7 number of #Manipur Police personnel had obstructed Dr. Larung Mejonah at Konung Mamang while he was on his way to home. On being asked about his whereabouts, Dr. Larung responded that he is a Medical Officer of the State and currently being posted at #Moreh Hospital. Upon hearing his posting place name #Moreh which is the domain of the #Kuki_Zos, the radicalized #Police personnel started abusing and intimidating him with death threats. Using xenophobic language, they threaten him saying, "adudi hatpabu yarene", which literally means "then it is okay for us to kill you". Dr. Larung was detained by the #Terrorist-typo Police personnel for Hours for no plausible reason.

Condemning the barbaric behavior of the Police personnel, the "All Naga Doctors Forum Manipur" demanded for their immediate suspension. Correspondingly, the #Maring Students Union and various other Civil Bodies within the #Naga community expresses their displeasure and condemnation on the same.

It is worth mentioning here that, in the already lawless State of Kangleipak, the erstwhile State of #Manipur, the minority #Tribals have been incessantly facing existential threat to their lives and properties. In one of his experiential comment on the current status of #Manipur, Shree #RahulGandhi had candidly pointed out the fact that #Manipur is already divided into two - "the #Meiteis in the Valley and the #Kuki_Zos in the Hills." Every National Journalist and Media Reporter present on the ground has witnessed this fact that the majoritarian #Meiteis and the minority #Kuki_ZoTribals are already being totally separated, and in no way at all the two community could ever come together again under one courtroom of political administration.

At this juncture, it is worth reiterating the demand of #Kuki_Zos for #SeparateAdministration, which is the only available means to butt them out from the incumbent fascist #NBirenSingh and his #Rapist #Meitei community.

I mean, how long will you even hide under this mask that only the Central Govt. is guilty. All the "state" (u/a 12 of the Constitution) as you put it, are guilty. The Manipur State is even more guilty because they could have easily contained the violence within the first few hours of the violence (which has been echoed by many people in the Administration who have experienced dealing with it Communal/Ethnic riots and violence) but clearly, the violence wasn't contained.

Biren should have been removed or at the very least, when he warned about the President's Rule being imposed in the first few days, it should have been done. Now, the reality is that we have reached a point of no return as the hatred and wounds are just too much. More than one year of this is enough to do that. That is the sentiments of all the victims because no one can ever guarantee our safety and security, not even the state or central forces even if people go back. 100% of the Arambai Terrorists will never be put behind bars, nor will 100% of the guns 'looted' will ever be recaptured. It's practically impossible.

So live and let live. No one is going to risk the ONE life they got testing out theories, who have been 'fortunate' enough to at least escape with that.

It's been one year. So just be part of the people who will stop this madness that Manipur and help bring closure to ALL the victims. It's not as if you aren't aware how powerful a CM is. Talk to all the people in security and ask WHY they didn't contain the violence in the first few hours or 24 hours. My area itself was attacked in two phases, one of the night of 3rd May 2023, and another on the 4th of May 2023. It's not as if the Manipur State didn't know which community would be attacked or which areas they live in.
