We all survived a breezy visit to the foreshore this morning. No rain despite the forecast! The children were fantastic! We spotted, pigeons, blackbirds, sandpipers, shell ducks, Canadian geese, magpies, moor hens and swans. We feel very lucky to live in such a special place.

Look what was inside. Unfortunately the name had been ripped off. We had to guess who it was from. We aren’t sure if it is a dinosaur 🦖 or a flamingo 🦩 or a bunny 🐰 or even a toy 🧸 inside.

We collected shells on our beach walk this morning as we were inspired by the story: Sharing a shell, by our favourite author Julia Donaldson. But being the creative bunch that we are, we decided to make them a bit more ‘Little Owls’😊
