The Aletsch Glacier, There is only one thing that could beat what seeing the glacier makes you feel, and that is, witnessing the marks on the surrounding mountain showing how the glacier has receded over the years. We are screwing it up guys...
One of the things I love about landscape photography is the that finding a better composition requires moving around... and given the scale of the subject of interest... it means moving around *a lot*... don't think it twice and keep on moving to find a better shot!
I have heard this one million times, and it's only know that I am starting to sort of understand it... Every photograph should be the result of reasoning what to include and not to include in the frame.

We started the hike season quite early this year, and have the firm intention of making the best out of it. Our first excursion was to see the beautiful Oeschinense, an alpine lake which is an eye candy. I hope you like the images that are to come.

Shot St. Mary's Basilica from our last day in Krakow, when we didn't have anything planned. This is the best time of a trip. When the tourist no longer behaves as a tourist, and one feels the illusion of starting in a new city and having all the time of the world to discover it.
Low-light photography is not easy. Our eyes can handle higher dynamic ranges than our cameras can. I started considering this thanks to a video of Sean Tucker. My approach has changed to guessing what the camera could capture, and then deciding whether taking the shot...
In Budapest we got to enjoy the iconic spots of the city at night time, when the stores' lights, advertisement and streetlights transform it. This shot was taken from the beginning of Zrínyi street and captures a beautiful contrast in color tones and temperature. :)
[en] The chain bridge is a perfect spot in Budapest to get creative with photography: leading lines, geometry, symmetry... now... you better go early if you want a show with not too many people.
