I want to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of people from Uganda, and from outside the country who sent me birthday wishes. I appreciate all the love and support. It is very heartening. Today, Charlotte and our youngest daughter joined soldiers of SFC in planting 50 trees. As a wise man once said 'The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is today'. We all have an obligation to protect our environment by combating deforestation. Later, we also opened the new Neonatal Special Care Unit at Dr.Ronald Bata Memorial Hospital in Entebbe Barracks. This hospital has developed from a Medical Reception Centre, when we opened it 11 years ago, into a fully fledged General Military Hospital. Once again I thank you all.
